TradeBooks is a business management application for UK sole traders, provided by TradeBooks ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account and using TradeBooks, you agree to these terms.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old to use TradeBooks.
TradeBooks is offered on a subscription basis at ยฃ7.99/month or ยฃ59/year. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time and will retain access until the end of your billing period. No refunds are issued for partial periods.
You own all data you enter into TradeBooks. We store your data securely to provide the service. You can export or delete your data at any time. We do not sell your data to third parties.
TradeBooks uses AI to power features including receipt scanning, quote building and payment chasing. AI outputs are suggestions only and should be reviewed before use. We are not responsible for errors in AI-generated content.
TradeBooks provides tools to help you organise your finances but is not a qualified accountant or financial adviser. Figures shown are estimates based on data you enter. Always consult a qualified accountant for tax advice. We are not liable for errors in tax calculations.
You agree not to use TradeBooks for any unlawful purpose, to share your account with others, or to attempt to access other users' data. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
We aim to keep TradeBooks available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for any losses caused by service downtime or data loss, though we take all reasonable steps to prevent this.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use of TradeBooks after changes constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We collect the following data when you use TradeBooks:
When you use AI features (receipt scanning, quote builder etc.), the relevant content is sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic does not store or train on this data. Receipt images are compressed and sent securely and are not retained after processing.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a GDPR-compliant cloud database provider hosted in the EU. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We retain your data for as long as your account is active, plus 90 days after deletion to allow recovery.
We do not sell your data. We share data only with the service providers necessary to operate TradeBooks โ Supabase (storage), Anthropic (AI features) and our payment processor. All providers are bound by GDPR-compliant data processing agreements.
